The Motability scheme enables disabled people and their families to use the higher rate component of the Disability Living Allowance to lease a brand new car. The payment includes insurance, maintenance and breakdown cover.
Motability is an independent not-for-profit organisation which provides mobility solutions for people with disabilities. The scheme was established to provide disabled people with safe, reliable and affordable cars.
